FISHING SECTION

The section had held its AGM (Thursday 05/06/08) and agreed the series of fishing competitions. There are also changes to the committee members. Please see Fishing Section for details.

CHAIN TESTING

TMS Ltd have now completed the testing and replacement of anchor chains 24/06/08 12 chains were replaced last year and a further 12 this year. The chains will require further testing on an annual basis unless the decision is taken to replace the chains with a piled system in the marina.

BOAT JUMBLE

A boat jumble is to be held on the morning of the Water Carnival.

PWLL DU PICNIC

Liquid refreshments will NOT be provided by the club at the beach. An allocation may be collected by members from the clubhouse before departure.

SILTING MAY 2008
Results of official detailed surveys before and after dredging have been received by the City council. These have been passed onto the appropriate engineer for comment/report. When these has been completed the council plan to hold a meeting with the club to discuss the effectiveness of the work.

Just a reminder on November 1st 2007 to October 30th 2008 Divers and Berth Holder’s are required to use their membership cards at the till to avoid a surcharge for the next membership fees.
